Veolia Nuclear Solutions France designed, manufactured, installed, and commissioned two characterisation chains for radioactive waste packages.
These chains employ gamma spectrometry to achieve automatic identification, quantification, and isotope measurements of nuclear material in waste packages.
The systems include a rotating platform for package handling and a detector-carrying cart. Veolia’s software suite ensures proper functioning checks and streamlined measurement reports.
