Veolia Nuclear Solutions undertook a 14-month project in France at CEA Marcoule to create a characterisation chain for Very Low Level Waste (VLLW) packages.
This chain includes components like a TF400 turntable, mobile table detector support, CeBr3 detector, and software for gamma spectrometry. The project involves design, manufacturing, installation, calibration, and operator training.
