  • Axel De Saint Quentin
    Chief Financial Officer of VNS

    Axel De Saint Quentin

    Axel is Chief Financial Officer of Veolia Nuclear Solutions. He has thirty years of experience in finance and environmental services, including water, waste management and energy services. 

    Axel began his career as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris and joined the Veolia Environnement group in October 1993 in the Energy Services activity. Since the end of 1997, he has held various positions as Chief Financial Officer of Waste Management activities in different geographies (North America, Northern Europe) or at the corporate level in the Water activities.

  • Christine Lucas Lamouroux
    Chief Executive Officer of VNS

    Christine Lucas Lamouroux

    Christine Lucas is an expert in legacy waste management, with a PhD in analytical chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, France and an extensive academic background in nuclear fuel cycle chemistry. She worked for the French Atomic Energy Commission for 15 years starting as a research engineer. She managed two R&D labs (analytical, isotopy, characterization and fuel cycle activities), and became the CEA’s R&D waste management and long-term disposal project manager. In 2014, she moved to AREVA (now Orano) as Technical Director and Strategic Affairs at the Waste Management divisions. Prior to joining Veolia, she was responsible for a business unit dealing with defence, demolition and fuel cycle in France's first independent nuclear engineering company. 

    Christine is also a graduate of ESSEC Business School, France, where she earned a master’s degree in change management. She joined Veolia in December 2022 spending nine months as the Veolia Nuclear Solutions (VNS) Chief Technical & Performance Officer before becoming the VNS Chief Executive Officer.

  • Corinne Jamot
    Chief Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer of VNS

    Corinne Jamot

    A 25+ years experienced legal professional holding a French Master's Degree in international business law, Corinne Jamot serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for VNS. She joined Veolia in 2004 as legal counsel for the water treatment plants business before transitioning to her current role in 2019. 

    Corinne contributes to the commercial growth of VNS and supports its development efforts by reviewing, or drafting and negotiating VNS’s contracts with third parties, while ensuring adherence of VNS to Veolia’s common rules and processes, as well as safeguarding and protecting VNS’s assets and personnel within the boundaries of the law.

  • Francois Parot
    CEO for VNS France and Continental Europe

    François Parot

    François Parot, a graduate of ENSIC, INPL and ESSEC, began his career in the chemical industry with HOECHST and CLARIANT, working in industrialization and technological development roles in France, the U.S., and Germany. In 2001, he joined VEOLIA in hazardous waste management within SARP Industries' HQ. From 2004 to 2008, he was Managing Director of EDIB and SARPI La Talaudière. After leading VEOLIA's hazardous waste activities in Switzerland, he returned to France in 2012 to establish ASTERALIS, becoming its CEO in 2016. 

    He now serves as CEO of VNS Europe and VNS France since January 2023.

  • Helene Deniau
    Director of Methods and Performance of VNS

    Helene Deniau

    With a PHD in Chemistry from Paris VI University, Hélène began her career at Orano as an engineer, especially involved in the design, construction and start-up of the R4Pu facility at La Hague. Then she occupied several positions in the nuclear transport operations and the management of complex Dismantling Projects. 

    After leading the Studsvik French Office, she joined Veolia to manage operations in a CEA facility. Based on her background mainly focus on the back-end activities of the electronuclear industry, she is currently the Performance Director at VNS helping the Entities in conducting their business development and project Execution.

  • Jean Francois Nogrette
    CEO for France Zone & Special Waste Europe of Veolia

    Jean-François Nogrette 

    Jean-François Nogrette holds a master’s degree in agricultural engineering and a doctorate in molecular biology. He joined Veolia in 1995 and was appointed CEO of SARP Industries, a Veolia subsidiary specialising in the global management of hazardous waste, in 2010. In 2015, he was appointed CEO, Veolia Water Technologies, and became a member of Veolia’s executive committee in 2018. 

    His current post as CEO of Veolia’s France and Special Waste Europe includes overseeing Veolia Nuclear Solutions.

  • Jeyanthan Dasan
    Chief Information Officer of VNS

    Jeyanthan Dasan

    Upon completing his Postgraduate degree in Information Technology at the University of Westminster, Jeyanthan embarked on an internship with Data Access Worldwide. He then began his Information Technology professional career as Systems Manager at an executive search company Jonathan Wren (part of The Adecco Group) in the City of London before joining Financial Services Software Services providers DST Systems (SS&C) 1999. After various IT leadership roles with DST, in 2011 he was appointed as Head of IT for Thales eSecurity. In 2017, Jeyanthan joined the Egis Group where he was appointed as Senior Leadership Team Member, managing M25 Road operation JV contract on behalf of Egis Group. He then progressed to become the Technology lead for Egis’ Greater Manchester Clean Air Zone project for a short period of time before joining Veolia in 2022. 

    Jeyanthan Dasan joined Veolia Nuclear Solutions in October 2022 as an Information Technology lead and was successively appointed as CIO in 2023.

  • Jon Halladay
    Managing Director of VNS UK

    Jon Halladay

    With 35+ years experience within the nuclear, energy and defence markets, Jon has a successful record in business leadership.  Starting his engineering career with a leading UK Nuclear and Defence organisation, he brings a wealth of experience in capital and service-related multi-disciplined projects, encompassing optioneering studies, design, build, commissioning, and training. He has led international business collaborations with organisations in the UK, France and Japan and served as a Civil Nuclear Business Specialist at the UK Department for International Trade.

    As Veolia Nuclear Solutions UK Managing Director, Jon is leading the development and delivery of VNS technology and services in close collaboration with Nuclear Industry Partners.

  • Katerina Rambure
    QHSSE Director of VNS

    Katerina Rambure

    Katerina Rambure graduated as an engineer with a doctorate in environmental science and technologies, specialising in nuclear waste management and chemical process optimization. 

    Her career began with an international research program from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on innovative methods for immobilising hazardous waste into recyclable matrices. 

    In 2015, she joined Veolia where she gained experience in the global Health and Safety department, spanning all business sectors and as the Head of Waste Treatment Processing Optimization tools at Veolia France Waste Management. 

    In October 2020, Katerina was appointed to the Management Committee of Veolia Nuclear Solutions. Her trajectory continued upward, and since July 2023, she is assuming the corporate role of QHSSE Director at Veolia Nuclear Solutions.

  • Laura Youngman
    Head of HR

    Laura Youngman

    Laura Youngman is the Head of People at VNS UK, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategic human resources management and organisational development. As a passionate advocate for creating thriving workplace cultures, she leads Veolia’s efforts in talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development. 

    In her previous role she provided strategic business partnering to the senior leadership team as well as manage a group of HR professionals, providing support for over 360 employees. At VNS she is committed to fostering an environment where every employee can thrive, innovate, and reach their full potential.

  • Simon Delavalle
    Deputy Chief Technical Officer of VNS

    Simon Delavalle

    With an engineering diploma from one of France’s engineering schools of higher education, Simon began his career in surgical robotics, developing innovative solutions for brain surgery and keyhole operations. He then joined Oxford Technologies, where he led teams in designing and delivering robotics solutions for projects with ITER, Dounreay, Sellafield, and Fukushima. 

    Simon is currently the Chief Technical Officer of Veolia Nuclear Solutions UK and Deputy CTO for Veolia Nuclear Solutions. In these roles, he oversees technically challenging projects for delivery to key customers.

  • Valerie Bielstein
    Communications Director of VNS

    Valerie Bielstein

    Valerie Bielstein is a seasoned communications leader specialising in crafting impactful strategies that elevate brands and drive business growth. With a focus on the B2B technology and industrial sectors, she currently leads communication efforts as Communications Director at Veolia Nuclear Solutions. 

    Her previous experience in senior marketing and communications roles at Capita Software Services honed her expertise in translating complex concepts into compelling messaging.  A Chartered Marketer and passionate advocate for strategic internal communications, Valerie brings a wealth of experience and a results-oriented approach to every challenge.
