Project P170 – Fusion Oriented Robotic Technology (FORT) will focus on:
- Integrating rad-hardened vision systems with robotic platforms
- Developing software for dynamic path planning & collision avoidance
- Testing and demonstrating automation in representative fusion environments
This collaboration continues Veolia’s nuclear solutions team's long-standing partnership with UKAEA and strengthens our research in remote handling and automation solutions for the nuclear sector.
The contract runs until March 2026.
